OK.. I have a problem....
I would like to apply for this scholarship.. but it requires me, basically, to brag... and I SUCK at bragging...

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to write a 500-2000 word essay explaining why I deserve the award, based upon the following criteria:

An exceptional work ethic
A demonstrated commitment to excellence

Not sure if anyone can help me out... I just suck at writing about myself... I tend to under-state any of my accomplishments and everything else......

I would think that the point is for *you* to write about why you should recieve the scholarship. Not for others to write it. Yeah, I agree it's hard writing about yourself sometimes, but in this case, that's something you have to do.

I just know that I suck at doing it...
I hate talking about myself... what I have done, etc... and writing about myself is worse...

If you can't do it, maybe you don't need to apply for the scholarship.

If you really want the scholarship and think you deserve it, write why you think that.

For the work ethics talk about why you won't work at a corperate funeral home, how you care, and how you want to do your best...... you always do a good job and you help others out when you can by coverig for other funeral directors. You help out the community with the rotary thingie. Make stuff up. These are just some ideas expand them, and add some more to it and then your good to go LOL

what scholarship it for??/ and what the poster about said is right, tell how you help the families, not working for a corporate home, time management(diff activites you are in) etc... if you want the scholarship you have to brag and do it as well as you can.

I know what i'm talkinga bout too, I applied for about 20 scholarships my Senior year of HS and won 5 of them(which is a good amount) most were pretty small only 200-400 dollars but one was 3,000.

I'm applying for scholarships now to further my education and help me go on in school and you can bet i'll do whatever I can to sound like the best applicant. I know I won't win them all but I feel I am qualifed and I deserve them and I will state my accomplishments and do whatever I can to win.
