I can't see how you can say it didn't blow up and disintergrate....

NASA is asking anyone who finds debris to not touch it... it's gone, Morgan...

The AP is a good source for information along with reuters and other sources. Of course...sometimes mistakes do happen...but not this.

Hell, anything you read in the newspaper is from the AP or Reuters...
So it's almost like saying you don't believe anything you read...

It is gone :(

I have also been alive for both them. The other one happened when I was 6 and I remember I was home sick that day. And it exploded while I was watching TV.

Normally it flies over us and we here the boom. I also like to get get up sometimes and watch the launches. It is nice because we are out here and it is beautiful to watch at night or dusk.

The sonic boom is normally loud here...but today they will be none.

God bless everyone aboard the shuttle and their families.

I agree w/you. I haven't watched the news for about 6 months now. The only thing I might watch is the weather. It's sad to see all the horrible things people do to each other. I think children are the most effected by the news. Can you imagine what little kids think when they see stuff like that on TV?

yeah I dont care about this one because we are crying over what, 7 people? And its like, these people had a choice to go up, knowing all well what could have happened to them. I mean...why are we crying so much for these 7...what about the countless people and familes in 9/11...why not still cry for them?

BREATH...I was just saying...I am not milking it anymore, but it just pisses me off that everyone is just as moved about the 7 people as they were about 9/11. Its sad that 7 = countless numbers ya know? I am tired of all the 9/11 stuff...everyone acted so united for a few months, and now they are back to selfish asses. Ok, done heh.

7 people who are some of the best of the best..
Any person can't be an astronaut... They ARE modern day heros... so losing 7 of them IS a big thing...
If I followed the space program I would be devistated...
